Self-drive Conditions

1. Payment - A sum sufficient to cover the full cost of hire plus a deposit of £150. (Please note that that we take a £300.00 deposit on 9-seater minibuses). Payment must be taken from a valid debit / credit card.
2. Age Limits - Drivers must be over 21 and under 75 years of age. Special conditions apply for those under 25 and those over 70 years of age.
3. riving Licence - Drivers must have held a full U.K. licence for at least 2 years. Each licence must be free from endorsements other than 2 speeding or technical offences; any more must be referred to our insurance company for authorisation. On no account should a vehicle leave the premises without us seeing your licence.
4. Additional drivers will be charged at £15 per driver per hire.
5. If you have lost your licence, it will cost £5 to obtain the details from the DVLA.
6. Rates - Include insurance and maintenance, but exclude diesel, oil and tyre repair.
7. Insurance - all vehicles are covered by fully comprehensive insurance but the hirer is liable for the first £400.00 of damage. We can offer a collision damage waiver (CDW) at £12.00 per day or £60.00 per week subject to conditions (minibuses are excluded from any waiver). Download our Insurance Proposal Form.
8. Hirers must ensure vehicles are returned in a clean condition. If vehicles are returned in an unsatisfactory condition, customers will be subjected to a £25 fine.
9. Vehicles are not allowed outside mainland Britain without prior consent.
10. Mileage - Excess mileage will be charged for at our discretion. 5-hour hire- maximum 100 miles.
11. All hires are to take place within our opening hours. Weekend hires run from Friday 5:00pm - Monday 8:30am.
12. All vehicles are covered by full AA membership.
